Airscanner® Mobile Antivirus for Windows Mobile Smartphone is the Smartphone version of Airscanner’s award winning anti-virus for the Pocket PC. Installation:

If you are using the direct-to-device installer (e.g., you don’t want to go through your PC), simply download the “cab” version of the installer directly to your device in the following directory:

Windows\Start Menu\Accessories

Then, browse through your phone’s menu as follows:

Start > More > Accessories

and launch the Airscanner installer from the options on your screen. Your program will now be installed.

Launching the antivirus program:

Start > More > Airscanner AV

And select “Airscanner AV” in order to run it.

You will then see the splash screen welcoming you to the program.

Using the Program:

You can now launch the program by selecting the “Play” button.

While the program is scanning, you will see the list of files currently being scanned in the address bar window. You can stop or pause the scanning at any time by using the “pause” or “stop” buttons.

There is also an info button (which tells you about viruses that have been detected), as well as a help button (which tells you information about the program).

Program Options:

The program options let you launch a scan, configure preferences, or look at quarantined files (the Repository).

Uninstalling:

Start > Settings > More > Remove Programs

Then select the "AirScanner" item. That’s it!
